Start telling him that we need to pray for his strength to over come this and that if he goes at least he will have his spirit and still knowing that he had a good life and talk about the funny memories and let them have their alone time together. Because thats the time that they should know that the earth does go on and that when the dads time is up at least you know that he will be going to the beautiful heavens from the skies and knowing that god might need him pretty soon and no matter what the spirit will always be with your fiance.

Say him that as far as he confronts the situation it’s good, who knows how long his father is going to live ,ask him to be with him as much as he can so that he gets stronger and none can be happy being an escapist.

Just be there for him.

We all have different thresholds to accepting personal tragedy. He is the only one that can overcome this. The only thing you can do is to be there for him just like you have up to now. Once this is over and the pain has subsided, you can seek the advice of a seasoned professional to help him learn to better cope with any future encounters with this type of situation.

Just be there that’s always the way to show that you care. Reserve a day for him so that he can do his favorite things like golfing etc. just something to get his mind off of it.

Just stand by your man. Tell him you know how hard it must be to see his dad but that if he doesn’t go he will feel bad later when his father is no longer here. Talk him into going to church or even the Chapel at the hospital and pray for help through this.
